A Guide to Ministry of Justice Criminal History Checks
Guide for employers wanting to use the Ministry of Justice criminal history check process.
Why get a check?
You can get a check done if you want to be aware of any convictions a potential candidate has. These are useful in high trust roles.
Please note a criminal history check is not the same as a police check. A police check shows all police information on a person and can only be accessed if you require these under a relevant act e.g. Children's Act 2014.
