Introduction
The Save Draft person and Draft People features allow you to add new people into MyHR, even if you only have a few of their details. You can come back later to complete their details and confirm them as a managed person.
How to Save a Draft Person
To save a person as a draft, you only need their name, current employment status (new or existing), and their email address. Begin with adding a new person.
Note: Who can access draft people
Your draft people are available to all owners and managers with the 'Add and manage people' permission and access to the department the employee has been allocated.
In the case that a department hasn't been selected, only owner users can see the employee profile.
How to Edit your Draft People
- Click 'Draft people' on the My People page or if you've just imported a spreadsheet of people, click 'Return to Draft people'.
- Find the person you want to update and click 'Edit'.
- Fill in any new details you have about the person or change anything that's already been entered.
- If you're not yet ready to confirm the details for this person, click 'Save Draft' at the bottom of the form.
- If you have everything you need and want to confirm them as a person in your account, click 'Confirm as Person'.
How to Confirm as a Person
- Once you're on the 'Edit Draft Person' page and you've entered all the details and want to confirm them as a person in your account, click 'Confirm as Person'.
- MyHR will check the details and highlight anything on screen that may have been missed.
- Make any changes and click 'Confirm as Person' again. MyHR will now add this person to your account and remove the draft.
Confirming as a person will apply the same checks as when you add a new person from the Launchpad.
