About Employment Awards
Employment is frequently covered by an Award (aka Modern Award). Where this is the case, the Award will set the minimum terms and conditions of employment. The Award can be specified on the employee record when the employee is created and modified if the employee's contract is changed.
How to add Employment Awards
When adding employment details while creating a person (or draft person), you will be asked if an "Award Applies". If it does, you will also be able to select the specific Award from a list that has been previously configured for your company.
If you are unsure which award is relevant, set "Award Applies" to "Yes" and select "Not sure" from the award list.
If the required award is not in the list, please contact MyHR and they will update the list.
