Employee leave application
- Employee logs into MyHR and selects “Leave”
- Here, they can see the history of approved and declined leave requests.
- The employee will click “Apply for Leave” to apply for a holiday.
- The employee chooses the type of leave and dates to apply for.
- Employee checks the hours are correct - they are automatically added to the leave request by MyHR so employees need to ensure they are accurate.
- The employee leaves a note for their manager.
- The employee clicks 'save' and gets redirected to their leave overview screen, where the new request is waiting for approval.
Manager review & actions
- The employee's manager will get an email that the employee has requested time off.
- The Manager logs into MyHR to review the leave request, the manager can use the calendar to see who else is on leave over that time.
- The Manager then approves, declines, or asks a question on the leave.
- If declining, we recommend discussing with the employee first rather than just through the system.
- The employee will get an email outlining the action on the leave.
Integrations with payroll
If you integrate your payroll with MyHR, the leave dates will flow through to payroll & the leave balance will flow back through to MyHR.
