Making an employee inactive and reactivating them

How to make an employee inactive

  1. Log in to MyHR - you will land on the Home page. Click on People on the left menu bar.

  2. Select the desired employee and click on the Manage tab.

  3. Click 'Remove Person' on the bottom left of the screen.

  4. Confirm the employee's removal by clicking Remove.

    The employee will now be removed from the active employee count and their files and records will be stored in the inactive department. This change will also flow through to all payroll integrations.


    How to reactivate an employee

    1. Log in to MyHR - you will land on the Home page. Click on People on the left menu bar.

    2. Click on the Inactive department, then select the desired employee to open their profile.

    3. Click on the 'Manage' tab.

    4. Click 'Activate Person'.

    5. Confirm the employee's reactivation by clicking Activate.
