We've released a small tweak to the way sign up happens from the Xero marketplace and launched our new performance review feature.
What's new with the Xero marketplace app
Sign up for a trial account
It used to be that when people came from the Xero marketplace (soon to be in NZ), you could jump straight into becoming a paying customer. We've made it so that all new customers come in as a trial first to align with other ways we sign people up.
If you're coming in as an existing customer of MyHR who also uses Xero Payroll, all you need to do is log in as usual to set up your integration between MyHR and Xero Payroll.
What's new in the performance review feature
Roll out to customers - phase one
We've released a change which means any new customers that sign up to MyHR have access to the new performance reviews feature. We've also taken a dive into our data and anyone who didn't currently have reviews underway has also been updated to be able to use the new feature.
With the performance reviews feature:
- A new and improved look for review templates through to appraisals for both managers and their employees,
- Automated template generation based on a role or select from a new range of templates provided by our HR experts to get you off to a great start,
- Customise the style of review with flexible templates that cater for KPIs, goals, OKRs and many more,
- Define the format for 1:1 check-ins with employees to facilitate effective performance conversations and a focus on continuous improvement,
- Collaborate on draft objectives or goals with employees via MyHR’s software and update on progress via comments throughout the review cycle,
- Browse for inspiration in MyHR's objectives, skills and development example library,
- Keep track of when your reviews were last updated by a manager or employee so that you know your people are focused on their goals throughout the year,
- Customise your rating scale and update it at any time,
- Control over deleting or what phase your employee’s reviews are at,
- Easily schedule check-in meetings,
- Access to quick insights on how much managers and employees are using reviews and a snapshot of the status of reviews for your business or organisation.
Log in to MyHR and head to the performance review section of My Business to check it out.
Roll out to customers who have reviews in MyHR - phase two
From here, we'll move into the migration phase where we help customers get their templates and reviews migrated and ready to go on the new feature.
