🚀 Smart agreements now in beta
Smart agreements are currently available to a limited group of beta customers. Not in the beta yet? Get in touch with MyHR to find out more.
With smart agreements enabled, you can generate an employment agreement instantly, without waiting for the MyHR team to prepare one. The agreement is built from the employee's details in your account and is ready to review and send.
What this means for you
- Agreements can be generated and sent the same day
- Less back-and-forth with the MyHR team for standard new hires
- Full HR team support is still available if you need it during the process
What you need to do
If you're a beta customer, you'll see the smart agreement option when adding a new employee. Follow the steps in the flow and if you get stuck, you can request help from the MyHR team at any point.
🇳🇿 NZ fixed-term agreements: the right clauses, automatically
Fixed-term agreements in MyHR now automatically include the correct version of key employment clauses based on the employee's tenure and the specific term of the agreement. This applies to KiwiSaver, annual leave, sick leave, bereavement leave, and family violence leave.
Previously, these clauses sometimes needed manual adjustment. Now they're handled automatically with MyHR's smart logic.
What this means for you
- Fewer manual inclusions when preparing fixed-term agreements
- Reduced risk of the wrong clause version appearing in a new agreement
What you need to do
No action needed for new agreements. If you have existing templates with manual overrides for these clauses, check whether they are still needed.
