Release note: 22 November 2023

Making it easier to accept invites to MyHR and get contracts to your new employees

Invite period extended

It's not unusual that employees might miss their MyHR invite emails, or perhaps they take time to think about a role they've been offered, which means that the 5 day expiry of our invite link can sometimes trip people up and come back to managers to request a new invite be sent out by the MyHR team.

We've extended the invite from 5 days to 10 days to help reduce the number of people who end up with expired invites. The terms of the contract do expire so we've kept it there for now but please feel free to contact us if you do have anyone who takes longer than 10 days to accept the invite (😅) and we'll get one out quickly. And watch this space for the ability to do that yourself.

Improvements for MyHR users using the invite link

Forgotten the MyHR login link and dredged back through your emails and clicked on the original invite link? You should now be directed straight to the login screen if the invite is already accepted, helping you get in easier. If you set up your original password in a hurry and you've forgotten what it is, never fear, you can request a password reset.

We do find people get a little confused about their login email as it'd be the one they used before they started their job for the most part. So if you or your employee haven't specifically changed it to your work email, it might pay for to try a personal email instead. Whichever address you'd have used when applying for the job - you or your managers can check that in the employee details and confirm which email to use to log in or for the password reset.
