About the upgrade
What's changing?
Fast Track is retiring, and Smart Agreements is taking its place. Same 4-business-hour SLA, but now it's built right into MyHR. You build the agreement yourself, step by step, with our team backing you up the whole way.
Why the change?
Fast Track meant filling in a form and waiting on us. Smart Agreements puts you in the driver's seat - select your clauses, personalise the cover letter, and generate the agreement on the spot. More control but built with MyHR's smarts. Our team is a click away if you need help.
Do I have to do anything to get it?
You can upgrade in the Platform, or, if you are in an eligible group, we activate it for you and tell you first, so you can opt out before it starts.
I got a notice saying I've been auto-upgraded. What now?
You've got 60 days before it kicks in. If you want to opt out, you will still have access to the feature for the 60 day period. After the 60 day period, you will no longer have access to the feature.
What if I opt out?
You'll stay on the standard process - 48-hour SLA, no fast-track option. You can still request Smart Agreements later if you change your mind.
Will my existing agreements or clauses be affected?
No - this only changes how new agreements are generated going forward.
Is there extra cost?
To gain full access to Smart Agreements, you will need to upgrade your subscription with us. The upgrade comes with a cost which will show in your next invoice once you've upgraded. If you self-upgrade, you will see the cost associated to the upgrade directly in the app.
What if I don't want the feature anymore?
Once you have upgraded your account, you can't reverse this. This is the new way of doing agreements through the MyHR platform.

What is Smart Agreements?
It lets you build a complete, ready-to-send employment agreement inside MyHR — no back-and-forth, no waiting on a form. MyHR automation applies the right rules for your business, and you review and tweak everything before it goes out.
How do I know if I've got access?
If you add a person, or request an updated agreement, you will see an extended flow. Not seeing the new experience? Get in touch and we can help troubleshoot and upgrade you.
I am worried that MyHR isn't reviewing the agreements/contracts. How do I know if I am doing it right?
This feature was built around our team's knowledge and processes. It has your rules and clauses set up just like our team has. If you aren't sure about something, you are not alone, our team is there at a click of a button. Our approval and notification workflows can help to provide an extra system layer before an agreement is sent to your employee. Contact us to set something up for you.
What employment types does it cover?
Permanent (full and part-time), fixed-term, and casual. Your account will only show the types available to you.
What if an employee's changing location or employment type?
Those still come to our team directly - we'll guide you through it.
Can I edit clauses partway through?
Yes. Hit Back to return to any step, make your changes, and your later steps stay put.
What if I spot an error after generating?
Not signed yet? you can regenerate a new agreement. Already signed? Get in touch via Ask Us and we'll pull it back and reissue.
Can I set up approval/notification workflows?
Yes - tell us the rules (who needs to approve, who needs notifying) and we'll build it into the flow for you. This feature is exclusive to MyHR's Smart Agreements.
Does it save my progress?
Automatically. Step away and come back to the employee's profile — you'll pick up right where you left off.
